Omar Khayyam, the great Mathematician, was a great Mathematician, Poet, and Philosopher.

18 May 1048 in Northeast Iran, Nishapur Which is Called Iran present day.

4 December 1131

83 Years Old.

Persian.

1: THEORY OF PARALLEL:

He was trying to prove the Parallel Postulate.

2: REAL NUMBER CONCEPT:

His contribution also consists of the concept of Irrational Number.

3: SOLUTION OF CUBIC EQUATION: 

Omar Khayyam was the first to solve all types of Cubic Equation Solution.

4: PASCAL'S TRIANGLE:

Omar Khayyam also was the first to propose the Pascal's Triangle. 

5: ASTRONOMY:

He also proposed the Jalaly Calendar which was his main contribution in the field of astronomy.
